So i had a go at making this hat....and it turned out great!
ps...don't ask me how i did it...i think it was a fluke actually, lol :p
And of course i had my willing dd to model it for me.......
In the last month, we have had SO so many babies being born around the farm....calves are popping out everywhere! And we have had to be midwives for a few of the heifers as well....being their first calf a few of them were having a hard time birthing....but once you've pulled a calf and see their gorgeous little faces....its all worth it
Living on the farm, the kids have seen so many being born its virtually a non-event to them now....but each and every birth is still an amazing sight, no matter how many times you see it

LOVE the hat. This past 2 winters I have taught myself to crochet but just the granny blanket and another one. I would LOVE to know how to make that hat though!! :) We are lambing here - so I know what you mean!! :)
